HOPE’s Thatta School: Independance Day Celebrations

August 14th is a day of great importance for all Pakistanis. It is the day Pakistan came into being 67 years ago. Freedom and independence was achieved after a great struggle and at the cost of thousands of precious lives. This special day is celebrated by all  with great fervor and enthusiasm.

This celebration was organized by the schools’s principal Mr Ismail Mughal for the first time in HOPE, an educational NGO in Pakistan’s school in Thatta.


A large number of the school’s children performed in the celebration by singing national songs, taking part in tableaus and comedy skits adding to HOPE, an NGO in Pakistan’s reputation in the region.


A special message of support was sent by Dr Mubina Agboatwalla, child specialistin Karachi and chairperson of HOPE, appreciating the efforts made by all for organizing a successful Independence Day festivity at HOPE’s  Thatta School.


It was suggested by Dr Mubina Agboatwalla, child specialist in Karachi, that the Independence Day activity should be  organized every year as a regular feature.
